Don't you have a CS enforcement department in your city or state? In mine, there is a department that is part of the DA's office that exists only for child support. If you give them your court order and the address and phone of your ex, they will go after her for you. I think you can work it so that she has to write the CS checks to them and they will then give the money to you. When she stiffs them for a few months they send in the hounds.

I think here in IA, all that happens is loss of a drivers license. Well, her car was repo'd so that won't do much.

She's into me for about $5,000 so far and counting. Even if I don't need it, it is still my children's money. They will be teenagers someday and college students hopefully. They would really need it then.

In IA:
The will take the license as you mentioned.
They will freeze her passport so she cannot obtain one.
You can put a lien on her federal/state tax returns, should she ever file one any refund goes straight to you.
CSRU will help you do this.

Thanks for posting the Maliscious Mad Mother Syndrome link. I had never seen that before ... and all this time I thought I was dealing with one rogue nut-case ... turns out there is an entire syndrome for her! I looked and looked, and couldn't find her picture on the page, but it MUST be there ...

Thanks!
