ro dropped

Postby Jeff750r » Sun Jul 22, 2012 9:49 am

My ex was able to obtain an restraining order on me in June. In July at the time of the hearing her attorney dismissed the motion, the court vacated it as well. I have had 3 instances after that where people are telling me she states there is still a restraining order or domestic violence.

I would like to know if I can do anything against her slander?

Whether fact or lie, in feminist circles a restraining order is nothing more than bragging rights. Even if she files a false police report against you, there's nothing you can do about her lies. In this game, you're guilty 'til proven innocent. That's how it works.

Can anyone direct me to the Colorado Revised Statue regarding restraining orders and their precidence over a parenting plan?

My current parenting plan states no motions by either party until Aug 2013, and she filed an RO then dropped it within 2 weeks. My attorney initially stated she was in contempt then mentioned no derogation with regards to the parenting plan?
