Child Support adjustments

Once my divorce becomes final i will have a set amount to pay monthly. Lets say i am paying $300 a month on Jan 1st. But 3 months later i get a raise at work. I dont say anything, but 2 years later a review is done to determine if i need to pay more in support. They see i make more money, it goes upto $350 a month. Will i have to pay back support for those 2 years since i didnt say anything?

You or her can file with you domestic relations center. Whoever files for a reduction or increase doesn't matter. It's only retroactive to the date of who files for the adjustment, not when you got your raise.

^No. It wasn't because it didn't pertain to his question. He has custody figured out (presumptively), and furthermore, may not be required to tell anyone he has gotten a raise.

Thanks TransAm123 for answering my question. However Nighthawk my divorce is NOT FINALIZED. I was just asking a question about child support adjustments IF it came to that in the future.

Depends on what state you're in, in my state you would pay arearages, in fact you did not inform CSS of an income change. As you was informed at the time your divorce became final. States differ on this!
