How did you find out the terms of her severance package?

When this happened to me, CSE insisted on seeing all the papers, including bank statement, unemployment records and reports, and employee dismissal papers. Seems she would get caught if that's the case. Never hurts to mention this when you go in for your interview.

Don't be surprised if they tell her their not reducing anything, get another job. That's what they would tell a man.

I would not rely too heavily on FB post to make your case.

The only thing the severance will change is the number of months the judge will keep things as they are before dropping to the new number.

Some states you can collect unemployment insurance while you are collecting a severance pay out. I know in California you can.

Ask your attorney to get info on this severance package from her attorney.

As FOF said you cant rely on FB for anything, ask for specific details thru your attorney. I dont think a judge will give a damn about a post on FB, so I wouldnt even think of using that as evidence, you need hard evidence and if they wont provide it then it hurts her credibility, if she wont provide it. And if you have to play hardball, then go after the employer for info.
