She isn't going to be full-time, as its a second job, but she will be working close to 40 hours. She was trying to rub it in my face, like "See, I can do this on my own." She doesn't realize that, yes, get your own money PLEASE! Now, she just needs to move out, and most of the pieces will be in place. Things are looking up.

The best day of my divorce so far was when my nj/stbx told me she got a promotion and pay increase. She disclosed that to me eight (8) days after I was financially raped in the Pendente Lite Support hearing. Subpoena your stbx's employer to get the new info.

We haven't started the divorce process yet. I'm Going to try a mediated divorce first, and if the stbx has income of her own, I'm hoping that she will be more agreeable when things are on the table. If she isnt' hopefully I will have the resources and knowledge needed to get what I want and the kids need by force.

Don't count on her being agreeable. Mine was very agreeable until she realized that I really and truly was going through with the divorce. Then all he11 broke loose. And just because she has a nice income doesn't mean she won't want you to support her (via maintenance or child support).

Well, if I file now, it is guaranteed she will feel backed into a corner. I'm going to monitor the situation, and let her move forward with her life, and as long as she is trying to move on, I'll wait to file, but I need to keep her somewhat uncomfortable at the home so she keeps heading in the right direction.
