What boggles my mind is the short-sightedness of the lawyers in question, to say nothing of the parties, all of whom cannot be ignorant of the very real fact that the big dollars will dry up for nearly every one of them in a very few short years. Meaning, why not build in triggers that adjust to this reality? Why not have a pre-nup that makes it clear that everyone involved understands this high dough is a temporary situation?
I get it that Rodman arguably blew the money thereby getting broke faster than he would otherwise have done, but is his money, right. Not defending the guy, but his lawyers suck for not making sure these things were not handled well. And to Rodman's irrespnsibility in regard to the same, I don't feel sorry for him either.
