I live in NJ and have custody of my son, my ex-wife lives in DC can I file for support in DC?

What jurisdiction did you get divorced in? That is the jurisdiction you should be petitioning for CS.

I got divorced in NJ.

I spoke to a mediator on Saturday and when he ran the support guideline software, I am to receive $688 per month, but I make 45K and she makes over 135K. I doesn't feel correct and I wanted some advice b4 I file a motion with the courts or accept the $688.

Google NJ Child Support Calculator.

Generally, most of these are just plug and play - put in the numbers it asks for, and it will spit out a number.

688 looks a little light. Are you sure there wasn't a one in front of the six?
