Anyone gotten text content with sopena or court orders?

Has anyone been successful at getting text messaging content with a sopena or court order. The cell phone companies will release it with either one of those... just curious if anyone has been successful in doing so? Yes i want out of spousal support. After finding some of her internet searches (buy evidence that your husband had an afffair) im not so sure if her and mr wonderful werent planning this for quite some time... but got caught first. Im in texas.

Before you go through too much trouble, if you have an account with the same carrier, check your service agreement. It could be that they spell out in that contract how long they store SMS content. Many only have it for 72 hours, after which they delete it; which is probably useless for court orders and subpoenas. Be sure you know what you expect to find and that it will actually help your case. For example, even if you do succeed at getting a text that says "it was awesome having your big <edited> sliding up inside my wet <edited>" it does NOT prove that such a thing ever actually happened.

If these are messages you received from her, take a photo of the screen?

If they are gone, indeed, you may be able to subpoena the cellphone company, but it will be costly.
