If there is a court order in effect that states that the ex owes you then go after her. Call your local CSEA to start and have them give you the info. Hey if the ex owes you then go after it.

steven,

where do you live?

I would call the state of florida department of child services and have them go after her. It will cost you nothing.

You can also go pro-se where you live and file a contempt motion.

Get Support Enforcement involved. They'll track her down and do all the dirty work for you.

File a complaint with the district attorney. This is felony non-payment of child support. They, too, will track her down. She'll get arrested, mugged, printed, booked, and prosecuted. From there, she'll do time.

All you've got to do is file your complaint with both of the above. Then watch and wait. They'll take care of business for you. That's their job.

Keep a journal of everything.

My ex hasn't paid her child support to me either.I went to support enforcement and paid the fee, 6 months ago...........no progress........no action,,,,,,,minimal child support of 75.00$ per week for 2 children. You know if it was reversed I'd be in jail.

my husband has been held in contempt of court for past child support for a child he didnt know existed. The mother doesnt allow visits but we pay support. I feel my husband should not have to pay arrears because the child was supposed to be another mans. paternity was never questioned ubtil the attorney general got on the other man. He acknowledged this child as his for two years and is on the birth records. She is named after hin and wears his last name. what can we do? We are more than willing to except our current responsibilities, but why hold someone responsible for not knowing.
