------------------------ I've read varying articles and anecdotes on "taking another bite at the apple". My NJ is attempting various strategies, and I thought it would be interesting to query the experience of this group.
A few years after divorce, I was able to get alimony removed as ex was making almost as much as me. Of course, I got hit with having to split other expenses, but they are all child related and will go away when my kids emancipate. Now that judge has ruled ex capable of supporting herself and alimony is over and never to be revisited.
My ex got married. It should have been cut and dry but for some unknown reason she insisted that she didn't get married . So I just printed off her facebook page and sent it to the judge.
I later discovered she was 3 months pregnant at her wedding, which explains the motive for getting married.
