QDRO Fee - Is this legit?

I had my QDRO completed/filed several months ago, but I just got a statement from my 401K provider saying that they charged a $425 QDRO Fee Administrative Fee. Has anyone else seen this? Is it legit?

Check your plan website and see if you can find a section on fees, or divorce. It should be mentioned in there somewhere. If not, give them a call and ask.

Was the splitting of this fee discussed, or netting it out of the equation? Or is it entirely your responsibility?
