A Day of Celebration

After 362 bi-monthly child support payments that consumed 35-65% of my income, the last one was made today.

I thought about a case of beer (I really don't drink) so I bought a chocolate cake instead.

I'm using the first few months of "saved" money to take the kids on a cruise.

Feels wonderful to be free of the system, which has been abusive and punitive.

I remember that day too.

Took all the kids on an all inclusive trip to Punta Cana.

Was also going to get a tatoo. An American flag. Two meanings. I am a patriotic guy. The other was to represent MY freedom from court orders tying me to the NJ. I am not a tatoo kind of guy. After some thought I did not do it and I am glad at this time years later. Wrong reason.

Party on! I was planning a big party for when my alimony terminated, but it came early when she got remarried, so I had an impromptu block party with something like 14 pizzas.

Looking forward to the end of CS next, will take my kids on a trip, sounds like fun.
