Free Credit Reports

To monitor your credit, you are allowed one free credit report per year from each of the big three Credit Bureaus.

Calendar your requests such that you order Equifax on January 1, Experian on May 1, and TransUnion on September 1 (or whichever order or month you choose).

This way, every 4 months you get a review of your credit. True, they are not all the same, but spacing out over the year these reviews is good.
