So I filed yesterday and the attorney asked me for the STBX's new address where she is staying and I have no idea what it is. How can I find out the address without her knowing that I have filed??????
A PI, skip tracer, debt collector or anyone that does that kind of thing for a living can get it relatively easy if she's signed a lease, changed billing address, put in a post office change of address or put utilities in her name.
Not so much if she is hiding in her boyfriends basement.
Right now she is supposedly living with a supervisor that she works with and their family. Too bad I don't have the tracking device still on her car. LOL In addition to that, she says she isn't having to pay anything to live there, but yet hasn't offered a dime to help with the kids.
Either you can find out or you can hire someone to find out. Either way , its not that hard assuming you have the basic information. If you do it yourself you might open yourself up to some sort of stalking or harassment charge or you might just waste a bunch of time because you're not sure about what you're doing. If you hire a professional they may be able to find out in a few minutes from behind a desk for a reasonable fee.
