My ex gf is trying to get me for chid support and my son has lived with me for the 7 years of his life im in Alabama and there r no fathers rights here and as far as I can see im going to have to pay it. because when I tried to get him in school the school board would not let me so my wife and I had to let her put him in school where she lives and i had to take him back and forth to school so she has all the paper trails except for income taxes. can anyone help me with this.

You are being screwed. Learn your state statutes, find a lawyer. You needed a lawyer when the school board disallowed a parent enroll his own kids in school, and seems you tried that without a lawyer. Learn the lesson. You have rights, you have status quo, and you need to get your kid in the school near you beginning the next school year. Does your xgf work? If not, you need to get her income imputed at minimum wage, at least. Fix all this now.

Is your name not on the birth certificate? Haven't you been taking him to the doctor the past 7 years? Isn't your initials beside all his immunization records?
