OC called me a depressed, a sociopath and having all the traits of a serial killer.

Judges somewhat expect that kind of stuff and it didn't seem to affect the outcome.

(All true, BTW, except for the depressed part)

First off, the entire trial is almost completely over and our written closing arguments are submitted.

Strange. At my trial, there were no "closing arguments."

Primarily, what I am concerned about is that their closing argument blatantly said that my husband is a pedophile and is a danger to his daughter. Their basis for this was that my husband was accused at one point 10 years ago of molesting his ex's underage sister .......They are stating in the closing argument that this should be taken as absolute and that my husband is in fact a pedophile based on this.The lawyer has written that he is "an active participant in a clandestine Internet community that produces, promulgates and revolves around child pornography.....They submitted a few pictures that he commented on with depictions of a lion king character in scantily clad clothing as evidence to say that he is a pedophile

I agree with FOF but I will go one step further. Look at the comments above, especially the ones underlined. This is what the lawyer wants the judge to believe. These comments are purely speculation.

Now, look at the comments below, most of which holds more weight.

He has no criminal record at all

there are no reported problems from the < parenting time > staff.

The at home investigator stated in her report that our home is safe and there is no evidence at all to suggest my husband is a child molester.

The outcome of accusation for sexual conduct with a minor was over 10 years ago and no charges were ever filed

If the judge listened to the lawyer, the judge would be dumb, because that opens the case up for an appeal. The lawyer doesn't know your husband. The people who supervise visits and the home investigator do and those people know him more than the judge or the lawyer.

I understand the financial issues but this isn't a standard custody trial. He has supervised < parenting time > and wants more. That's a hill to be climbed. He should have went with a lawyer on this one but it seems like, from what you said here, he did okay.
