The more I think about it, the more I think Commando might be the best single dad movie ever. It starts with him taking care of home essentials, then goes straight to him spending tons of quality time with happy and well adjusted child who is in no way, shape, or form seemingly damaged by Dad taking care of her all on his own (contrary to NJ belief). Bad people come and take away daughter, Dad responds by basically whipping the < hindquarters > of an entire third world country and retrieving daughter, all while lining up a tight bodied stewardess to bang post credits.
