That's the new modern female phenomenon

It goes right along with the cultural feminization of men. You may laugh but it won't be too long before your local Walmart is carrying a selection of cheap mantyhose.

In the interest of full disclosure, I drive a minivan. Best value for the money that I can afford, can pull my trailer and that can carry me, the kids and all our camping gear but I ain't wearing no mantyhose, don't carry a murse and have no problems puttin a bltch in her place.

What always bugged me about my NJ is that she wanted to have her cake and eat it too: She chose to be a "stay at home mom", yet did nothing with the kids except for the bare essentials (feeding, dressing, bathing), and often not even those. And forget about any sort of housework. She literally did no cooking or cleaning all day, every day. And when I suggested that some might consider that part of the SAHM's responsibilities, she'd tell me it's not the 50's anymore.

Freaking nutjobs.

Yup. I dropped her kids off at daycare on her three work days (she went to work early). She often got home after I'd put them to sleep. In return, on the two days that I was working and she was at home...I'd come home to a sink full of dishes, toys EVERYWHERE (she rarely picked up), and her at wits end. "Can you come home early?" Seriously? As her mother said...she isn't very motherly.

She had a damn good deal, but was more focused on taking advantage of it than putting something into it to ensure that it would keep going.

I always felt the X wanted the freedom of a woman in the 21st century and the responsibility of a woman from 1952. She actually got angry at me one time because she felt like I respected her more when she was working. I just figured if I was going to have to do all the housework and discipline the kids and everything else either way, she might as well add some income to the mix.

MY STBX did care for the kids and worked (we both did both). She didn't do much of the household stuff, she became more into facebook and her iPhone.

That doesn't mean she wants scotts fertilizer when the grass looks greener in a jpg.

I think the midlife crisis thing historically seemed more for men, but with the women-wanting-to-be-like-men thing, it's ending up with what we're seeing.
