NPR story on judicial bias

I didn't catch the whole segment, but there were some calls about judicial bias in family court. Audio isn't quite posted yet, but I will listen to all of it later today when it posts.

Heard a bit about the difference between "juducial bias" and the natural "predisposition" of a person who carries to the bench life experiences and attitudes. I will listen for that part especially, because one of the speakers suggests that what we might see as bias is nothing more than a person's micro-culture (life experiences, etc.) and not really bias.

To me, bias is revealed in the results, not some label or technicality.

I reserve the right to edit my comments, since I only heard a brief bit. Maybe there is less to this piece than I thought...anyone else hear it?
