email hacked!

Postby hereticalhermit » Wed Jun 13, 2012 2:08 am

A federal crime. Admitted to in the frivolous protective orders. My protective order was denied saying there was "not enough evidence of fear for my life or of intimidation/harassment". How do we go about changing a system which assumes that a woman with NO evidence has a right to get a tpo and when I try to file a 100+page document showing the perjuries, slanders, and felony acts, the judge acts like I'm overreacting?

That doesn't seem like a very helpful answer. Even if the overwhelming amount of my evidence did exactly that, that does not change the fact that my request for a tpo was based upon proveb facts, rather than perjuries and slanderous allegations, with ZERO evidence to show her reasonable fear for her safety. I am learning the hard way that there seems to be a systemic bias in these matters against men, which is why this site and forum were created.

yes, there is bias and your bookish response played into that bias, IMO.

Sorry you didn't find the response helpful.

Which brings us back to the original question and ones related to it: how do we change such a system, or deal with it at the point I have described?

By not giving them a reason to rule against you.
Short, concise and irrefutable is better than so long it won't be read.

No document in my divorce ever approached 30 pages, much less 100.

Looks like I have no choice there-court clerks refused to make a copy of or return my documents, and claim they are filing them with HER documents, making them temporarily unavailable to me until I can determine which they are filed with, will be filing again today using only the court-provided paperwork.

Is this a theroretical discussion, or specific to your case?

Both, actually. Any answers that are helpful to my own case are obviously going to have instructional value to other folks, and the "how do we change or fight this system" part is clearly something which is a far bigger project than can be taken on by one man simply by standing up and fighting for his own right to be heard on an equal basis.

Why don't you provide some details about your own case - state you are in, length of marriage, kids . . . lalala - so we might help you.

How we change our maternal culture isn't really what we do here; dealing with the specific strategy for your case is our strength.
