The hardest part isn't having opportunities, it's taking those opportunities. Go to a local event. Strike up conversations. If you just go-nothing happens.
At the local grociery store-see a woman on her own, TALK TO HER. even if she's married-you might get to be friends and meet her cute younger sister.

Match for me has been a big let down, and I have yet to do eH. Frankly, I find most of the woman are unattractive, and the ones that are, usually have such a personality defect its revealed in the first 2-4 dates. The nuttiest woman I find are childless over 35. So now I date only 23-32 and 40+ with kids. I'm 37. I have no desire to find a new wife, not yet. For me, a strong, healthy, independent and attractive single mom is pretty hot. You know, everything your ex nj wasnt You still have to weed them out, but if she has a decent career, and manages the home, and a single life, she probably is much less of a nut job. But then you get these self professed 'type A' chic's who are just flat out annoying. I dont know about you, but I find it annoying as hell when women obviously act like they are big sports fans, just for the fact they will be liked more by a guy. That reeks of desperation.

Personally though, the best dates I get are when I just roll up on a girl I meet on the street and get her number. You know immediately if she is worth your time. Of course we havent heard from our friend, but you take a risk every time you step out the door.. As a man, its really on you to create the interaction, put down the porn and get out on the street and start talking to women in very casual and innocuous ways. Putting cream and sugar in your coffee at the starbucks is usually the most likely place I start a conversation. Bars and clubs are full of trolls. Thats my only advice.

I guess I still appreciate a little mystery, at least thats what was fun about dating before I got married. and yes.. a few cheap coffee dates and a google search will give me enough info to check her out. Its not so much looks as it is just being social and striking up pointless conversations. I am sure it wouldn't hurt, but so does taking a shower and combing your hair. eH looks good, I guess when I am set on going after exactly what I want for something long term, I will check it out.
