Coming to America

Postby dadmisseskids » Sun May 13, 2012 10:55 am

I was relaxing on Mother's day this morning watching Coming to America. Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall interviewed women for a date but struck out and were walking back to their place talking about the experience. Eddie Murphy says, "Is it my imagination or does every woman in New York have a severe emotional problem?"

If only the women with severe emotional problems were located in New York.......

Wasn't the country they were from called Zimunda? Zamunda? Something like that.

Guess the women there aren't crazy like that.

Funny, I don't think Zimunda is actually a real place.

Very funny movie and the dating scene was hillarious. When Arsenio was in drag and said " I want to tear you up...and your friend too"

Lots of great actors in there too and great punch lines, especially in the barber shop.

I watched one of my favorites, "Coach Carter"

Funny movie, I agree. However, extremely valuable life lessons can be learned here.

But in real life, nothing beats an old-fashioned barber shop for down-to-earth, down-to-the-bone, face-to-face, first-hand experience; honest male dialog that you'll never get in a politically correct metro-sexual salon.

Kiddos and I watched The Hulk and a /cough cough acquired online copy of the Avengers. I have a kneejerk reaction against redheads...but I'd take the bullet for Scarlett Johannson.
