Any pushback from the utilities being cut off?

And why don't you move in with recorder and when she goes out to buy groceries or something, lock her a** out!

Yup. I know what you mean. This is already headed down the worst case path. I would just like something to go my way.

Nope. No push-back on the utilities. I put a password on every account, so she can't call in with the account numbers and pull some kind of "woe is me" bull$h1t. I'm surprised that I haven't heard from her attorney yet on that one. I'm not sure what he'd say though. "My client is unhappy that you've decided to stop the gravy train after 90+ days." lol

If she didn't have four year old's that are in the house four days of the week...I would. Not wanting to disrupt them (or to minimize the disruption for them) is why I went about things the way that I did. As it turns out, I was more concerned about their feelings than she was. She was the one that got them all riled up when i was heading out the door. Guilt over not wanting to disrupt the kids lives is why I didn't leave five months earlier. Oh well...

I had my first phone meeting with my new lawyer today. I thought it went pretty well. I liked that he attempted to be somewhat optimistic, but didn't blow smoke up my < hindquarters > about the situation. Below are the short blurbs about how he's expecting the hearing on 9/9 to go.

Depending on the Judge...of course...

-She gets full use of the marital property until the matter is settled (likely 4-5/2013)...either paying 50% or 100% of the mortgage. This is essentially meaningless though, as there's no way that she'll cough up a cent (he said that they wouldn't garnish her wages up front...so it'll likely be 60+ days from the hearing before I get any relief out of that).

or

- I get awarded full-use of the marital property, but she gets 30-90 days to vacate. Again...another can of worms. At the deadline...unless I can get a deputy to boot her...it's meaningless.

He was annoyed that I didn't give her notice that I was cancelling the utilities (apparently the PSA that I filed with the court and to her wasn't good enough). He said to expect to get chewed out, depending on the judge.

He's going to talk to her lawyer and figure out what the hell she wants. She's not going to get child support (not my kids), limited...if any spousal support (11 month marriage), and any use of the house will only be temporary (it's my house). We'll see...thanks for the encouraging words. I'll keep trudging along.
