Mediation was pretty much my first slap in the face experience with the biased court system. Up until that time, I had no idea how outrageous it was. Our mediator was a real piece of work. Somehow based on a 5 minute conversation with my wife and I, he determined that it was fair for me to have my daughter 4 days out of 2 weeks. Then when I said "absolutely not" I was accused of being unreasonable due to refusing to compromise. Her attorney had the balls to request that I get 2 hours a week, and that's it.
When I pointed out that her attorney was the one being unreasonable, "that's just the way it's done."
Me: "What does that say about what you do?"
