temp orders

Postby Here_We_Go » Thu Jun 14, 2012 3:32 pm

Getting on the stand was not fun at all we went half way through my testimony and had lunch. I was going for Expanded Standard < parenting time > but settled for 50/50 neither can designate primary residence of the child (5/5/2 and two weeks each in the summer) 50/50 expenses no child support, she moves out of the house and we sell, no alcohol for 24 hrs prior and during possession.

I settled because I did not want there to be bad blood forever, i felt it would hurt any attempt at co-parenting. she was committed adultery and going out every night, but since she filed she has been acting like a decent mother. Also i feel she would have gone through sons college fund to fight me and that would not be good for him. So I feel that son is the winner here. any comments are appreciated.

Sorry it wasn't fun, but did you expect it to be? Getting 50/50..I think is a victory. You played it in his best interest. Nothing wrong with that. What is the age of your son?

Why the stipulation on alcohol? Or is that standard? Because of her going out every night? I guess I haven't been following your case/leads...but PM me, I would love to hear more!

Best of luck!

P.S. Doesn't mean she won't screw up and you can't get more moving forward..be patient if that is what you desire.

yes if i were in her shoes i would be happy too. I am just concerned that she will revert back to her history of ignoring s4 and being more concerned with Mr. Wonderful than anything else. as far as the no alcohol thing we both had the other one pinned for a drunk. I had been drinking more b/c it was hard to look at her knowing what she did, putting my son through this, and end the life I had planed. I think she was drinking more bc she was happier with Mr. Wonderful and depressed with our marriage. now that she is gone i feel so relieved my life can get back to normal. from the first time i found out about the affair I had an outlook that it was the end of the world and now i have the out look of bliss. I am fully in the driver seat, and can begin to rebuild myself without someone always criticizing me etc.

She's all yours Mr. Wonderful!!
