My ex had no problem going into court and having a full blown hearing. Even after she lost, the entitlement syndrome was in full effect and took it to an appeal. She lost. Even after the appeal, she threatens to take me back to court at least once a month.
Some NJ's won't stop until you get a restraining order. Even then they push the limits. In my case both me and NJ were willing to go to the mat. It was like a UFC grudge match. The last one standing wins. If you have a narcissistic NJ, surrounded by NJ friends that got everything including the kitchen sink in their divorces, and unlimited funds from mommy and daddy, be prepared to see the custody stuff all of the way through because every single thing will be contested, even your toothbrush.
