I offered her the apartment and she's going to take it. Now what.

Great if you can make it happen. She now has her own love nest and YOU have the kids. Sounds like a good trade to me, otherwise she would be love nesting in your home.

We'll still be splitting the kids 50/50 throughout the week. It will give me the chance to show that I'm not leaving and to protect my assets.

Couple of other things here:

I told her that she needs to sign the apartment lease. Not sure if she will or not in fear of me not paying the rent for her.

Secondly, she's driving a leased truck that's in my name that she's been paying for for the last 15 months. It makes me nervous since the mileage is going over the allotted amount. I keep asking her to just buy it from the dealer but she's waiting to see what shakes out of our colloaborative divorce meetings. I'd like to just trade the thing in and get out of the lease if she doesn't do it soon.
