Mediation Results

Mediation with a NJ is pointless.
Started out with her wanting me to have 1 day a week end.
And back for 2 days a week like it is now.
Ended up with 3 days a week and 4 days every other week in the summertime. Contingent on the moving to her location. Then she got < edited > at the end and almost decided to just tear up the whole thing. said she could do the custody evaluation. Then the mediatortold her to get back to her within a week after talking with her attorney. I see things changing again. Wtf.
The whole time we were in their shoes in tire lee selfish and even a mediator saw that but with mediation someone's got to budge. I stated if there are any deviation from the current plan that we decided on my her attorney then I would not agree to it and we would have to go to court.

I'd go for every other week in the summer. Forget just 1 extra day per week...

And then during the week you can do a 4-3-3-4 schedule. Combined with every week in the summer, that gives you 50/50.

Negotiating for more is one thing. While "more" can feel like a victory, it isn't always so.

Shee ouldn't do 4-3, 3-4 during the school year. She wanted every other week in the summer but 4-3, 3-4 was more conducive for my work schedule.

But I know for a fact she's going to change her mind walter girlfriends in lawyer get ahold of her.

There's what's conducive to work, and what's best for your kid. Just saying...

I agree to move if she would do 5050 and it ended up at 3 nights a week during the school year. Our state has joint decision making anyways and does not refer to custodial ship. She admitted to wanting to move into her sisters which would be 6 kids in 3 adults in 1 place! And at that point was to stop her from wanting to move again!
Everything she said a mediation was full of vengeance and aggressive and it was everything I could do to keep from strangling her haha Iwas just getting tired of being there. Especially when the location she was originally talking about was not the exact location she said in mediation. What's next? I did state if her attorney changes anything then that would be no further negotiations. I am at my limit. I am at 2 nights a week now I don't believe a judge would give me much worse haha.

You could get worse. The 'typical' order in many places is 2 overnights out of 14.

2 out of 7 days is 28%. (approx)

Didn't you say something about 30% in another thread?

She would need greatwmer than 70 percent to make a move to another state.
I am willing to move for 3 nights a week but I would like more during the summer time if possible.
If we win 3 nights a week year round thats like 42 percent. If you add the day in the summertime it bumps it up to like 46 percent.
In all reality I would take 3 days a week you around. I am currently at 2 days a week do I can see it just giving anything less than that... I could be wrong.

I hope you are not wrong. What does your attorney say? What other info do you have?

For instance, the mediator in our case used to work in as a clerk in the judges office. She seemed to also have a good relationship with my attorney and the GAL. When she said in mediation how she felt the judge was likely to rule, we listened.

What is the standard custody agreement in your state? In some states it's 4 days a month. In others all you have to do is ask and you get a mid 40's percentage of the time.

How do I ask or who do I have to find out with standard custody agreement?
The mediator was not associated with the court I felt like it was almost a waste of time. Shes goingo report back to the attorney I am assuming they're going to argue from there.
