Only way I could see anything working would be if maybe you put it like this:

you: Your honor, I am petitioning for sole legal/physical/medical.
judge: on what grounds
you: stbx is mentally impaired and has threatened suicide, here is exhibit A, the note she left. Here is exhibit B: receipt for gun and ammunition she purchased.

And that is it.

Otherwise, all you might do is tick the judge off. Don't argue with him, and don't think that you can out shout him. State it calmly and MOVE ON.

will it work? I have no idea. But anything in which all you do is try to show how bad a person SHE is will backfire and you MIGHT end up with the EOW screwjob.

No one cares about a questionable suicide note written 4 years ago. No one will care. No one but you.

In fact, your own retelling of the suicide note story paints you in a questionable light. Be prepared to answer why you are still in possession of the note 4 years later and trying to use it against her when , obviously, 4 years later she is still breathing. Seriously, make it sound compelling why you would save such a hurtful and inflammatory item as a suicide note if you believed the threat were real and the note a cry for help from someone you love. Try not to sound controlling, vengeful or manipulative in your answer.

It's not the silver bullet you think it is.

That's pretty funny. My ex showed up at her divorce trial engaged to her fiance, testified to it on the stand and one of Georgias longest sitting judges said he didn't believe she committed adultery. Good luck chasing that angle.

One thing I've heard often suggested is when you are writing it assume you could end up being on either end of it. Draft accordingly.

well FOF IO just need lose ends tied up. and when you say a spouse can move out the house tomorrow and if they get a BF/GF its not adultery then it bothers me and rattles around in my head. I'm sure by now you've figured out there is a lot of rattling room up there. so when I think i know something I have to tie it down then move own to the next...
which brings me to this. I want clarification on what that judge said Friday. Who Should I be calling tomorrow for this the Judges secretary or clerk? to get clarification or a copy of the transcripts or what?

OK at the risk of being chastised again have a question...... I have a recording of me calling and asking to speak to the child nicely , STBX won't let me and talks harshly to the child in the back ground because she doesnt want him on the phone or internet with me. I ask why she say cause she pays the phone bill.......is this in or out for the custody hearing..... just vote in or out please no mean comment required you know how thin skinned I am....if its out then I wont ask again
