There is no "legal separation" in Florida.
In my case, we didn't get finished in the time allotted, so the judge ruled on the parts that were finished, and half a year later we got back to court for the rest.
I had lawyers and it took years. As pro se, straggling on for 4+ years, and little to nothing in assets, there is no reason for bifurcation.
Start a new thread to state your case, let us know about the kids, what parenting time you've had for the past 4 years, living situation, whether both of you work, etc.
Dual Parenting, not Duel Parenting.
