Finally moving forward on divorce and new agreement

There is no "legal separation" in Florida.

In my case, we didn't get finished in the time allotted, so the judge ruled on the parts that were finished, and half a year later we got back to court for the rest.

I had lawyers and it took years. As pro se, straggling on for 4+ years, and little to nothing in assets, there is no reason for bifurcation.

Start a new thread to state your case, let us know about the kids, what parenting time you've had for the past 4 years, living situation, whether both of you work, etc.

I'm just trying to get legally divorced with the Court reserving jurisdiction to determine property rights, etc. and want to know if I need to request "Leave of the Court" in my pro se motion for bifurcation.

Has anybody else done this successfully? If the Judge granted me the divorce and reserved his decision on other matters, I don't care how long it takes (I have custody and don't currently have to pay the stbx a penny in support per court order).

If you have custody, little or no assets, ongoing 4.5 year divorce process, and are pushing now to be divorced on paper...I smell a new marriage to cupcake in the near-term. Again, start your own thread.
