Motion to withdraw from atty #3

Postby kahuna » Mon Jan 17, 2005 1:51 pm

Just found out this morning that nutjob's third attorney filed a motion to withdraw. She owes him almost $10K and if it isn't paid by this week, he's gone. Hopefully she shows up without him next month to argue pro se about how she "deserves" money.

The problem is that she is supposed to pay $1500 towards the appraisal of the building. I may end up paying that also since I heard that settling the case without an appraisal of the building leaves it open for appeal later.

kahuna,

Sorry to say you may set the record for the longest casse in history.

How are you and the kids holding up? How are the STBX's supervised visits going?

It will be 18 months from the time I filed until my next (and hopefully last) hearing. I'm holding up OK. The kids are doing remarkably well. Nutjob has been taking all her court appointed time with them and apparently has enough money to pay the supervisors. We'll see what happens when more money dries up.

Were already having problems with scheduling. I have to pick the kids up early next week for a medical appt and she is already refusing to release them. The supervisors are afraid of her so they won't back me. I may just have to keep them all day instead. Thank God for sole legal custody!!!
