Handwriting on the Wall - II

I just got back from a Probation Intake for one of our children. I am fighting all kinds of battles and this is one of them.

The Probation Intake Officer is making a recommendation that my son be put in my custody. His thoughts were things are out of control at Mom's home with failing school, skipping school, and other issues

I told STBX about recommendation and she asked why he needs to be in my care. I said things like control and accountability. I don't know how this will conflict with the GAL hearing. GAL hearing is one week before son's sentence hearing.

I know the PO only makes a recommendation, but I have some hope after posting gloom this morning. Un-related but totally related. I have 4 more un-related issues to deal with that are somewhat identical. We will see.
