Video Recorder

Postby Enough » Tue May 15, 2012 7:34 pm

The time has come. I need to get a video recorder. I made a mistake of confronting my NJ after she had her first bottle of wine about something. She was screaming uncontrollably and I feel bad because the kids were in the house. Plus I am sure neighbors in a 2 mile radious heard the entire event. I normally don't talk to her until the morning when she isn't drinking and the kids are gone to school. Anyway, I would now like to start recording the evenings. How do you guys do it? I read of different recording defices that you use but they don't look secretive. Do you just walk around with a video camera? I would like to use something that isn't seen so I don't play my hand too much. Like an ink pen recorder in my pocket or something.

You have a choice of putting a camera just about anywhere you can imagine. Probably the most surreptitious I've seen was a camera concealed in a neck tie. Key fobs, coke cans, cigarette packs, eye glasses, watches. You name it. Whatever you think fits best into your lifestyle.

Thanks. Looks like I need to start doing some homework. Good choices there. I took the kids to the spy museam a few weeks ago in DC and some of the old spy gadgets were huge compared to this stuff.

There are very reasonably priced IP Cameras that will record when movement is detected. Check D-link and Linsys websites. You can set them up to record to a hard drive and you can check them when you are not home.
