wrong wages for child support in divorce decree

Postby birdthing » Wed Apr 18, 2012 10:54 pm

After 3 years of continuances and delays from my ex the divorce decision has been made. I was granted a modified order of parenting time. But, the amount of child support is wrong, because her income is listed as 20grand less than what it is and my income is listed as 20grand more than what it is and has been for some time. And the extra parenting time was not factored in. I still have not heard from my lawyer about the mistake(s) and the deadline is almost up. Should I request an adjustment from the courts myself, or fire my lawyer and obtain more time (as my ex did twice) or get a new lawyer and file the objection? Help.

I'd camp out in my lawyer's office until I got a solid answer to two questions:
1. HTF did this error happen on your watch?
2. WTF are you going to do before next Monday to fix it?
Dual Parenting, not Duel Parenting.
