If just looking to track time in days MS Excel works wonders. I suspect it would even be easy to setup a spreadsheet based on hours.

that is what i have been doing for my journal, adding pictures and everything. What does the software offer that excel doesn't? Is there a good reason to buy it if you are familiar with excel? I am going to have to look into this google docs thing.

The little software I've seen sucked. C&C's was one of the worst.

Excel and Powerpoint, FTW
