Is my house bugged?

Discussions on technology and it's application and implications in divorce

The home phone works over the weekend so the calls are not forwarded. I checked the whole house distribution network and nothing looks tampered with. Is anyone aware of any key loggers for a wireless router? I am not really concerned, I have nothing to hide, just wondering what she is up to

I got nothing, if calls aren't being forwarded. Logging anything from a router should send the logs via email or FTP. So unless she's running some crazy FTP on her phone that allows the home phone to send via DIAL UP instead of modern access....I would doubt it.

Personally, I'd go unplug the line at the interface before her next visit, and if she says anything, tell her the tech will be out Monday morning.

Could she have some program running on your home computer system or alarm or whatever that is calling her cell? I'm thinking something like when you send an email, it makes a call to her cell or something like that. Easy to find out if that is happening. Unplug the computer from the phone and see if it continues, or install a device (easy to look up and find) that hooks up to an audio recorder that will record all the calls on the home phone. This way you can hear what these calls are about.

At work I set up autodialers all the time for remote alarm systems. It will call a phone with some recorded message when there is an issue.

Also, if she is doing something like that, it would be useful in court to show she is a control freak.

Note: Spying on your X generally doesn't get you anywhere positive.

So last night she leaves for a few hours and the following calls were made
5:35 pm home phone to cell 36 seconds(right before she leaves)
9:21 pm home phone to cell 1 second (shortly after she returns)

I really need to figure this out

Is she call forwarding?
I am a dad. It is not a simple title, nor a professional position. It is a aggressively defended FACT!

If it is a keylogger...do you go on this website at home?

If so, "Hi, motherofthree, I'm Canadad. We know that you know that he knows."

I do not go on this website from home. If she does lurk here, hello motherofthree. For the sake of our kids well being will you consider moving out?

Friday rolling around. If she leaves for the weekend, remove the home phone and tell her "I've decided that in light of things I'd cut the unnecessary expense. We have cell phones to use". Then see if she gets real jittery like a crackhead needing a fix.
