Storing E-Mails

I have strings and strings of e-mails for several years from NJ that I want to somehow put them all on to a disc or something. I'm afraid that if e-mail (Yahoo in my case) ever goes out of business they will be lost. (thinking long term) I have printed most of them out and filed them but wondering if there is a better way?

Print them to a .pdf file and save them on a CD

You could also create a new GoogleMail account and forward them there. I think they will be around for a while and give you a huge amount of free storage.

Print to PDF...save to USB thumb drive.

Make multiple copies. Keep one at the office, one is your safety deposit box, and one at home (or locked in the trunk of your car if you are one of those "still living with the NJ/middle of proceedings type of guys")
