You can try to spin your snooping as a noble act of delving for the truth but I don't really see anyone being able to pull that off very well.

What maxtm1 in NJ fails to mention is that the e-mail account contained over 500 e-mails in the inbox alone about his escapades on Craigs List casual encounters. He set up visits for sex, with random women and couples, on the days that he had his daughters. In some cases, he paid for it. I beleive that in most states that is a crime. He also failed to mention that he abandoned his family for another woman, while his wife was deployed, and only has something to do with his daughters when it is weekend fun stuff. But he has plenty of time for his now girlfriends 4 children. Maybe the ex was just trying to protect her daughters. I know her and there is more to the story. BTW, it was a joint account she accessed. His concern was not that the account was accessed, but how the information could be used against him.
