SPAM Control

Postby Anything4Her » Thu Nov 03, 2011 1:59 pm

I suggest giving a few of the more experienced members the power to delete posts/accounts with the understanding it is to only be used on SPAM accounts.
There has been a rash of spam postings with phishing urls posted. It is difficult for the current moderators to keep up with them.

I nominate FatherofFour to be one of them. He spends more time on this forum than anyone.

If not that then give someone such as FoF the authority to lock a post when it gets out of hand and a moderator may not be available. Some of the posts run rampant a couple of days until a mod can stop it. I know our Mods do a great job but have lives and jobs and children and sometimes can not axe an idiot poster on here in time before it spins out of control and is a waste of time and resources. Just my Humble Opinion and FoF sounds like a great candidate if he would be willing to do it.
Men who fear becoming fathers dont understand that fathering is not something perfect men do but something that perfects the man. Its like an aged man reclining under the shadow of an oak he planted.

I am not opposed to having help moderate the site. If we want to get a list of few people I can add them. I am not familiar enough with who would be good candidates or who is interested. Maybe we could even take a poll and see who the community wants.

Limit links to anyone with more than 20 posts, and that goes for links in the posts and the signatures.
